Ethan went to a birthday party.......

So this is what was there lots of snakes!!!!!
A little scary the guys name was bud and he showed us bite marks from this snake. Huge bruises and little marks from his teeth. Bud said he thought he was food. I think I wouldn't want to be by this snake if it was hungry.
The two boys in the end got pooped on -nasty.
Ethan loved it! this one his was holding tried to climb up his shirt that is the only time I saw him get a little nervous.
This is a 2 week old baby boa. He will grow up to be bigger than the one he was holding before.

This is an 85lb boa. This snake went the bathroom on the two big boys on the end it was really gross luckily Ethan was in the middle so he didn't get an on him. Thank goodness.

Makayla lost her first tooth!!!!

She was so excited but was crying because of the blood. It was so funny she would sob and the giggle. Then the silly toothfairy forgot..... whoops. Anywas he made it up the next day and now she has a tooth box to put all her teeth in for next time.

She has made her tongue sore from putting it in the hole. Her teacher even wrote a note about how excited she was to loose her tooth. Fun the little things that make us happy for the moment.

Makayla Is 7!!!!

Makayla turned 7 on last Sunday and I have been trying to get this slide show put up for almost a week. Makayla brings such a joy to our house. She is my little angel. She is usually such a big helper but she has her days. She loves it when everyone is happy and loves to be the center of attention. She love water and snow and is already asking when it is going to snow. She is very sad that we won't get any here. She loves her brothers and keeps asking when her sister is going to come.( no future plans on that) She can draw for hours and has a passion for science. She says when she grows up she is going to be a zoologist so she can play with tigers. We love how she is always pretending and we never know which imaginary friends are with us. I hope that she always keeps her imagination. We love her and and are so glad that she picked our family.

Close Scare.....

So pools are very scary. We know this and we have very strict rules about the pool. But sometimes things happen. Saturday, Makayla had a friend over to play for her birthday. They went swimming with the boys. Hunter didn't swim long ( he always wears a life jacket) so neither did dad. He stayed outside though to watch the kids. I was canning Salsa so I stayed inside. I went out to give Jarred a towel and visit for a minute. Hunter was playing in the backyard with the bikes and stuff. Jarred and and I was talking when all of a sudden Jarred says why is Hunter in the Pool? I have know idea what happened next except I was grabbing Hunter out of Jarreds arms and he was choking. He coughed a couple of times and then was crying hysterically. I was amazed how quickly all of this happened. Jarred has very quick reflex's I think it took him about 1 sec to get into the pool to get him. Jarred is very shook up about the whole thing and says he will be haunted by Hunters panicked look on his face. We are both very glad that Jarred was prompted to look into the pool because who knows what would have happened in a minute longer.... We have know idea how he got in with out us hearing him and how long he was in there. We are hoping that this scares him a little because he had know fear before now. He didn't talk for a while after all this happened but seems to be doing fine.
Hunter has had a rough month. We took him to an Allergist.( He had a reaction to a granola bar when we lived in Vegas) We found out that he is severely allergic to Cashews and almonds. So we are know are supposed to carry an epipen with us at all times. Which this is crazy to me because I have had a nut allergy for years and I just know how to stay away from them . But that is hard for a two year old to understand. So we are waiting for some blood work to come back to see if we turn into crazy protective parents. The blood work we tell us how severe it is. Hunter also had surgery on Tuesday. Hopefully know more ear infections!!! Jarred and I are looking forward to reclaiming our bed without Hunter in the middle. But now he seems to have started having nightmares. I think he just loves sleeping in our bed because now he wants to take naps in there also.

Dress up fun!!!

Hunter has been working on dressing himself. This is his 1st attempt.
Makayla and Ethan love to dress up. Little does Ethan know that this will be great black mail when he gets older. But he sure thinks it is fun.

Hunter had to get in on the fun, they are so precious. I love it when they play together. It makes life wonderful.

WildLife Zoo

They were putting on a show for us..... Madagascar style

These are my favorite Monkeys and they even let Jarred and I take them home.
Have you ever fed a giraffe? Well I can now scratch that off my bucket list.

How close have you been to a tiger? We were so close we could have stuck our hands thru the fence and pet him. He was taking a bath and drinking the water. Makayla said that is gross! At least my daughter has learned that you don't drink bath water. HINT HINT -boys
The bats were eating- you had to turn the light on and then snap the picture. I think this was one of the kids favorites.
You can't see them very well but Makayla had to have a picture- There is two baby tigers.
This is my favorite monkey I called him Einstein monkey because of his hair. This guy was harassing the others if was very fun to watch.
This is a meerkat he came right up to Hunter.
