I miss Valentines....... the way it used to be.

This is my friend Miae. She has her own floral shop in Utah. When I go to Utah and need to make flowers she always lets me use her shop. She is the best! I wish I was there to help her out for the holiday.

Valentines changes it meaning when you are a florist. Anyone who has worked for a florist during this time would know what I am taking about. 100 hr weeks, cleaning thousand of roses, dealing with stressed out husbands and boyfriends trying to be creative and get the perfect Valentine, Craziness. But after the first year of shock you start to like it and get excited for the day to come. I do miss this craziness. This year I wanted to do some rose orders for some people. But I couldn't compete with grocery stores prices and didn't feel it would be worth it. Fry's had roses for $17.99. I think it is sad for florist that they have to compete with the them. The grocery store always had roses but they used to be such poor quality that it wouldn't cause to much of a problem. But now the quality is just as good, it would be hard to compete!

Enough of my rambling, Jarred and I don't really celebrate Vday. Because we just got used to working and it was to much of a hassle. Jarred would rather get me roses as a surprise then on Vday. I hope that all the florist had a great Vday and to the rest of you enjoy your flowers!

9 weeks..... is this normal?

This how Hunter fell asleep today at 11:30. He decided he was tired and went to upstairs and this is how I found him. Isn't he the cutest thing! I am very lucky that he loves naps because this pregnancy has made me more tired and sick than any of the others!

Ok so am I so huge! I am only 9 weeks is this seriously normal? I am going to be a enormous by the time this little one gets here!

Deep thoughts!!

Wow -Have we had a crazy end of the month. I have been really thinking about the cycle of life these passed few weeks. We are born, we live, and we die. Sometime I think we might feel that people die when it isn't their time. And it doesn't seem fair! Morgan Palmer is one of these special spirits that was returned to her Heavenly Father earlier than everyone hoped. She was only 7. We just got home from her funeral. It was hard even though I knew it was her time to go. She was our step niece, we didn't know her that well. But she was a very cute girl. She had a brain tumor that was inoperable and dealt with that for a year before she passed. I think the saddest thing for me was watching her older sister say goodbye. I could not stop crying! Imagine a 9 year old saying good bye to her sister and best friend! It was heart breaking. My prayers are with her family.

We now have a funeral of Jarred's Great Grandma. She is the last great great grandma that my kids have. She is 94 and has been ready to go for a while. Well heavenly Father has called her home on Tuesday. I think of this woman as such a trooper. She was always busy doing something and so stubborn that she could do it her self. I remember her saying that she would cut down this huge pine tree all by her self and that was just a few years ago. She was an amazing Woman. We love her and will miss her! But we are happy that she is with her Husband after all these years.

Back to the cycle of life. It is amazing to me that we are always saying goodbye to some spirits and getting to meet new spirits. We will be adding a new spirit to our family in August! We are very excited. This will complete our family. I have always felt that the people that pass before us are taking care of our children in heaven. I don't know how it all works but that is how I have felt since Jarred lost his Grandma and Grandpa Mason. We had been married for a little less than a year and we were taking about starting a family. We were at the funeral and I was feeling a little sad that none of our kids will get to meet them. As soon as I thought it- the thought came that they would take care of my kids until they came to me. It is amazing how the Holy Ghost works.

Jarred fixing the car!

Hunter has found a new love of doing hair. Jarred is always a volunteer! I don't mind sometimes but you always end up with a few less hairs.

Hunter also loves Makayla room. He put on her swim suit all by himself. Good blackmail pic for later in life.

We have had a funny noise in our vent for a few weeks. It was a big pain in the butt all the way to Utah. So he decided to fix it, he didn't realize he was going to stand on his head to get it fixed. But now it doesn't make a awful noise when you turn it on. Yeah! Hunter and Ethan were his helper handing him tools when he needed them.

I don't know what has happened . But when i click on the links to look at others blogs, It say you must subscribe to this feed. So then I subscribe but I view it a different format then it used to be. I didn't change anything... does anyone know how to fix this?
I think I fixed it I had to refresh my saved options!

Ethan's birthday party!

We tried a cupcake cake. It was alright if you can wipe off more than half the frosting.

Decorations!!!

This is our Meteor shower! The kids were so excited, all of the balloons have toys and candy in them. I got a blister from tying so many balloons. At least we had a pump to blow them up!

This is the group missing one that had to leave early. I think some of the kids will have frosting lipstick for a couple of days. One of the kids got it up his nose! It was so funny!

Some of the other games they played were storm trooper bowling, pass the death star, and pin the controller on Darth Vader. I think over all it was great, a little crazy at times!

If you don't like the sound of popping ballons, you may want to turn the sound down!

Funniest thing ever!

So it is cold in Utah compared to phoenix! My dogs thought so too. So I wanted them to be comfortable so I bought them jackets( first time i have bought them any kind of clothes). Then the were limp after going outside I think because the salt in her toes on their feet so I thought little booty's would be cute. I had know idea that it we be hilariously entertaining. Thanks to a lady at the store that said have your camera ready! I haven't returned them yet just in case Jarred want to see it live! I know I am mean aren't I!!! The joys of laughter.
